If you haven’t been to Miguel’s Mexican Restaurant and Nightclub lately, you’re in for some fun surprises. Management has been making a number of upgrades to Miguel’s look and menu, with more changes on the way, and the result is simply magnifico!
Immediately upon entering, patrons will notice the fresh paint throughout and a new wall partition separating the first-level nightclub from the restaurant upstairs. Not only does the partition prohibit dance music from floating up to the restaurant, but it also encloses the nightclub seating area and provides privacy for its patrons.
Upstairs, customers have lots of new dining options. Each Sunday morning, for example, diners can enjoy Sunday Brunch at Miguel’s. From 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., they can choose from an ample selection of American and south-of-the-border breakfast favorites, such as Chirizo Con Huevos, Muchaca Con Huevos, and Huevos Ranchero. Among the more popular choices are the basic two eggs cooked to order with bacon and Miguel’s special potatoes and the omelets. The prices are as tasty as the menu—All of these freshly prepared entrees are only $4.95 and $5.95 and come with a complimentary Bloody Mary, Champagne Cocktail or glass of Orange or Tomato Juice (no alcohol served before 10 a.m.), as well as Miguel’s Special Potatoes and Beans and a choice of sourdough toast or tortillas.
“Our Sunday Breakfast is getting rave reviews from our customers,” said Restaurant Manager Nina Gregerson. “People like the food and that they don’t have to wait in long lines for a table. Our restaurant is so big that they rarely have to wait.”
Diners also can save money by ordering one of Miguel’s Early Bird Specials. From 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. daily, the restaurant’s popular Grande Combo is offered for $4.95, nearly $2 off the regular two-item price. Diners can choose any two of the following: cheese burrito, bean and cheese tostada, beef taco, cheese enchilada, or beef taquito, served with Mexican rice and beans and a choice of soup or salad.
In addition, the Early Bird Specials include Chicken Fried Steak and an Open Face Roast Beef Sandwich. Both are served with mashed potatoes and all the fixings.
Miguel’s also is offering a memorable evening of dining and entertainment to cheer in the new century. Tickets for the New Year’s Eve Bash are only $25 per person and include a choice of a New York Steak and Shrimp combo or Chicken or Steak Fajitas as well as entry into Havasu’s best New Year’s Eve celebration. Party-goers will enjoy party favors, a champagne toast and dancing to one of the hottest deejays around. Tickets for the party alone (no dinner) are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. Reservations are suggested to ensure New Year’s Eve seating in the restaurant.
And, of course, Miguel’s Nightclub has plenty of fun activities for patrons throughout the year. You can watch your favorite sports competitions, such as Monday Night Football, on the new giant screen TV in the nightclub. Happy Hour is featured from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, while a new Pull Tab promotion can determine the reduced price of your next drink. The dance floor really gets going Thursday through Saturday nights starting at 9 when the deejay starts playing today’s top music.
Miguel’s gift certificates are a great way to treat someone to Miguel’s Sunday Brunch, lunch and dinner when a huge variety of Mexican fare is offered. For only $7.95, the Tuesday Night Buffet is a feast for all appetites. In addition to a fruit and salad bar, desserts, chips and salsa, diners can fill up on Cheese Enchiladas, Chili Rellenos, Chicken Flautas, Arroz Con Pollo, Beef Taquitos, Beef Fajitas, Mexican Rice and Beans.
Banquet and take-out menus also are available.
